Melanie Magazine, MS, BCBA, provides behavior analytic services to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the Complex Behavior Support Program at Marcus Autism Center. Following the completion of her master’s in applied behavior analysis from Georgia State University, she became a board-certified behavior analyst under the supervision of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) staff at Marcus Autism Center. She serves as Case Manager for the Transition Program, where she works with children who have successfully completed their admission in the Complex Behavior Support Program. Melanie focuses primarily on the generalization and maintenance of a child’s problem behavior treatment, as well as increasing adaptive skills like communication, academic readiness skills, daily living and social skills.
