Behavioral Clinical Practitioner
Shea Buckley, MEd, BCBA, provides applied behavioral services to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the Complex Behavior Support Program at Marcus Autism Center.
Shea began her career in the public school system as a special education teacher and, later, a behavior intervention specialist. After earning her board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) certification, she worked in the private sector before coming to Marcus Autism Center.
Shea is responsible for developing and conducting individualized assessment and treatment packages aimed to reduce maladaptive behaviors, such as aggression, disruption, elopement and self-injurious behaviors. Shea’s research interests include treatment of escape maintained behavior, elopement and the generalization of behavioral interventions in the school setting.
