Behavioral Clinical Practitioner
Kelly Shirley, BCBA, provides applied behavioral services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the Complex Behavior Support Program at Marcus Autism Center. Following completion of her master’s in applied behavior analysis from Arizona State University, she became a board-certified behavior analyst under the supervision of the Day Treatment Program staff at Marcus Autism Center.
Kelly is responsible for developing and conducting individualized assessment and treatment packages aimed to reduce maladaptive behaviors, such as aggression, disruption and self-injurious behaviors. Her research interests include treatment of escape maintained behavior, self-restraint of self-injurious behavior and the generalization of behavioral interventions in the school setting.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys baking, bowling with her co-workers and spending time with her family.
