In 2015, Christian worked as an undergraduate researcher in Andy Lattal's lab at West Virginia University. Research involvement consisted mostly of resurgence-based experiments with rats and pigeons, as well as some basic pharmacological training. In 2019, he received his Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis at Western New England University while working at The New England Center for Children under the advisement of Chata Dickson. Here he worked primarily with adolescents and adults placed in more restrictive environments due to the severity of their challenging behavior. His research interests at this time involved the assessment and treatment of dangerous behavior and using graduated guidance to teach cooperation with medical and hygiene procedures. From 2019 to 2024, he worked for a community aba provider. Here, he worked primarily as a clinical director, assisting BCBA's across multiple sites within Northwest Florida to solve myriad client-specific issues through 1-1 clinical consultation. He also aided in the development of broader systems for improving company-wide clinical quality/efficiency and providing initial/remedial trainings to clinicians across a variety of relevant behavior analytic domains. In October 2024, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to work at Marcus Autism Center as a BCBA supervisor in the Transition Program. Here, he manages cases that have a history of intensive outpatient aba services for treatment of complex behavior. The primary goal for these clients is to verify the generality of their treatment and prepare them for a successful transition into a less restrictive setting.
