Courtney Hannula, MS, BCBA

Behavioral Clinical Practitioner

Courtney Hannula received her master's in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and organizational behavior management (OBM) from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Fla. She started her career in the private sector, assisting families by helping decrease problem behavior and increase adaptive skills in the home and community settings. She joined Marcus Autism Center in May 2020 as a Behavioral Clinical Practitioner in the Complex Behavior Support Program. She serves as Case Manager for the Transition Program, where she works with children who have successfully completed their admission in a Complex Behavior Support Program, and focuses primarily on the generalization and maintenance of their problem behavior treatment, as well as increasing adaptive skills like communication, academic readiness skills, daily living and social skills. Courtney has a wide range of research interests, including staff training, skills assessment, learner readiness skills and assistive communication devices. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys traveling and spending time with family, including her four dogs.
