Speech-Language Pathologist
Sally Fuhrmeister, MS, CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist at the Louise and Brett Samsky Preschool. Sally received her undergraduate degree in communication sciences and disorders at Florida State University and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Vanderbilt University. She completed her clinical externship work at the Florida State University Autism Institute in Tallahassee, Fla.
Prior to working at the Marcus Autism Center, Sally provided early intervention and outpatient therapy services through United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham and the Hand in Hand Early Learning Program in Birmingham, Ala.
Currently, through her work in the Preschool Program at Marcus Autism Center, Sally collaborates with the teachers and coaches them on supports and inclusive strategies to promote learning and engagement in children with and without autism.
