Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Monica Hannah, PNP, graduated with a master’s in nursing from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She then worked in Augusta, Ga., in a hospital-based developmental behavioral pediatrics and pediatric neurology clinic, while also leading the hospital’s pediatric inpatient team for daily newborn nursery rounds.
Monica moved back home to Atlanta, Ga., in 2014 and now works at Marcus Autism Center on the medical services team. At Marcus Autism Center, she works collaboratively with psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists and researchers assisting in diagnostic evaluations, developmental monitoring, medication management and severe behavior issues.
Additionally, Monica is a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the local Georgia chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She actively helps train the next generation of nurse practitioners by precepting students from local nursing schools frequently throughout the year.
