Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Michaela Scotchie, MA, BCBA, received her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from University of Maryland, Baltimore County and is a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She completed her practicum at the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Intensive Pediatric Feeding Disorders Unit. She received her bachelor’s in psychology and anthropology from the University of Florida.
Michaela is a case manager in the Language and Learning Program at Marcus Autism Center. Currently, she provides services in the Intensive Outpatient Program by developing and managing cases with minimally verbal clients. She has experience providing behavior analytic feeding interventions to children with feeding disorders as well as comprehensive behavior analytic services to children ages 2 to 12 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental delays in various settings, including clinics, schools and homes. Her passion is to teach her clients communication skills to reduce challenging behaviors and increase their independence and autonomy.
