Social Worker
Lauren Dennis, LMSW, is a licensed social worker and clinical care coordinator on the family support and care coordination team at Marcus Autism Center. Lauren completed her undergraduate degree in human development and psychological services Northwestern University, then moved back to her home state and earned her master’s degree in social work at the University of Georgia.
Lauren has since been working with children, adolescents and families in schools and outpatient mental health facilities. In her current role at the Marcus Autism Center, Lauren supports families with addressing psychosocial needs and provides linkage to community resources for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Lauren also acts as the liaison to the Early Intervention program, the Center for Assessment and Diagnostics (CAD), and the Louise and Brett Samsky Preschool.
