As a member of the Clinical Assessment and Diagnostics team, Dr. Dilly conducts developmental and diagnostic evaluations with young children. She specializes in evaluations for children referred regarding a possible autism spectrum disorder.
Dr. Dilly earned her doctoral degree in school psychology from Michigan State University where she studied the relationship between teacher provided social supports and positive child outcomes. She went on to complete her pre-doctoral internship in the Houston Independent School District, focusing on mental health and the assessment of developmental disabilities. Prior to joining the Marcus Autism Center, Dr. Dilly served as a lead psychologist and training coordinator in the Cobb County School District. As both a licensed psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Dr. Dilly is able to bridge the worlds of school-based and medically-based psychological services for children and adolescents.
Dr. Dilly is actively involved in her professional community and has served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Psychological Association as the Chair of the Family, Child, and Assessment Committee. She values the translation of science to practice and enjoys teaching professionals to increase the early identification of autism and to facilitate families’ access to services.
Diagnosed with autism when he was just a year old, Ryan Cartledge is now 18 with a bright future ahead of him. His father says, "Marcus Autism Center changed Ryan's life."
