Dr. Ussery has been evaluating children and adolescents for over 13 years as a licensed clinical psychologist. She has extensive experience in working with children within the Autism Spectrum, as well as those who present with more prominent mental health issues.
Donna Renee Ussery, Psy.D., joined the Marcus Autism Center Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center in 2008, as a clinical child psychologist. Prior to joining, she assessed children and adolescents in her private practice, as well as provided therapy.
Dr. Ussery obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology from Argosy University. After focusing her graduate training on children and their families, she obtained her doctoral degree in 2002.
She successfully completed her internship at the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents in Rockville, Md. Her post-doctoral training was completed both in her private practice and at Marcus Autism Center.
Diagnosed with autism when he was just a year old, Ryan Cartledge is now 18 with a bright future ahead of him. His father says, "Marcus Autism Center changed Ryan's life."
