Whether it's parents, grandparents or friends, we routinely offer events for families living with autism spectrum disorder.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
September is National Grandparents Month, and as a valued resource to children and grandchildren, Marcus Autism Center wants to honor your hard work and dedication. Join us for an educational session geared towards grandparents of children with ASD. The program will include a brief overview of ASD and a discussion of the grandparent’s role within the family. We will share tips for understanding and supporting children with ASD.
To register for Grandparent's Day on September 16, please email Amanda Knapp by September 8.
Max Brewer was diagnosed with a mild form of autism when he was 3. His older brother, Arthur, also has autism and completed the Marcus Autism Center Early Intervention Program. “We had seen such great progress with Arthur, so we knew that we needed to start Max in the program, too,” Max’s mother, Therese, said.
