Given the core aspects of autism and other developmental disorders that involve communication, speech-language pathology plays a crucial role at the center. Trainees may arrange for all or part of their experiential learning to take place in one or more programs in the center.
While generalized training appropriate for most speech trainees will be coordinated with the rehabilitation internship office at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, in some instances a more specialized experience at Marcus Autism Center may be arranged. To learn more, contact the training office.
